JCI Kokkola is a local chapter of JCI Finland, including about 70 local chapters and 2 500 members. Together with JCI Finland alumnis we form a network of over 5 000 jaycees. Globally we are part of a network of more than 200 000 young people aged 18-40, present in about 120 countries. JCI provides great opportunities for international contacts through national and international conferences and training. As JCI members, we take initiative to solve local challenges. Not just focus on charity or service, we are focused on finding the root causes and on generating sustainable impact locally and globally. It only takes one active citizen to change the world.

JCI’s mission is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and companionship necessary to create positive change. The leadership skills of the members are always developed through training, seminars and projects.
